Inspired by her own experience in pageants and her volunteer work with the Special Olympics, Jordan Somer founded Miss Amazing in 2007 when she was thirteen years old . She drew on her experiences to create a movement for people with disabilities to realize their abilities on and off the stage.
Girls and women with disabilities can accomplish greatness if given the chance to challenge themselves and take risks.
